
Description
- n-Butanol (NBA) is a clear, mobile, neutral liquid with a characteristic odour. It is miscible with all common solvent, e.g. alcohol, ketone, aldehydes, ethers, glycols and aromatic / aliphatic hydrocarbons. Its miscibility with water, however, is restricted.

Application
- As a solvent in antifreeze, disinfectants, etch primers, fountain solution in lithographic printing, fungicides, lacquers, lacquers thinner, latex rubber production, liquid printing, mixed alkylated glycol ethers, phathalates and xanthates.
