CANSHIELD™ SBS 300 is an SBS-modified bitumen sheet membrane for use in approved multi-ply membrane waterproofing assemblies. CANSHIELDTM SBS 300 is composed of a proprietary formulation of elastomeric styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) polymer modified bitumen and is reinforced with a tough, dimensionally stable non-woven polyester mat. The topside is surfaced with PE film, sands or granules and the underside is surfaced with polyolefin burn-off film to optimize heat welding.

PRODUCT ESCRIPTION & FEATURES:

CANSHIELDTM SBS 300 is an SBS-modified bitumen sheet membrane for use in approved multi-ply membrane waterproofing assemblies. CANSHIELDTM SBS 300 is composed of a proprietary formulation of elastomeric styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) polymer modified bitumen and is reinforced with a tough, dimensionally stable non-woven polyester mat. ·SBS rubber polymer enhances the asphalt blend adding elongation, elasticity and flexibility to the sheet

·Reinforced with a non woven polyester that increases the membrane’s strength and durability

·Underside is surfaced with a polyolefin burn-off film to optimize heat welding

·Topside surfaced with sands to optimize adhesion between plies

·Topside surfaced with ceramic coated granules to provide durability in exposed environment

·Meets or exceeds requirements of GB 18242

USES:

CANSHIELDTM SBS 300 can be applied into various kinds of waterproofing projects, especially for the following types:

·Roof waterproofing projects.

·Waterproof and damp proofing of underground construction.

APPLICATION:

·Prior to installation, unroll CANSHIELDTM SBS 300 onto the deck and allow to relax. Place CANSHIELDTM SBS 300 in desired position and back roll the product. Apply approved adhesive or primer following manufacturer specifications. CANSHIELDTM SBS 300 is then is then placed into the adhesive and rolled with a weighted roller or hot welded to the substrate when using primer to ensure adhesion.

STORAGE:

·Store rolls in an upright position to prevent damage. Store in a clean, dry location and cover as necessary to protect from environmental damage such as extreme cold, heat or moisture.
