CANSHIELD™ SA300 is an self-adhered SBS-modified bitumen sheet membrane for use in approved multi-ply membrane waterproofing assemblies. CANSHIELD SA300 is composed of a proprietary formulation of elastomeric styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) polymer modified bitumen and is reinforced with a tough, dimensionally stable non-woven polyester mat. The topside is surfaced with polyolefin film and underside is surfaced with a silicone release film that is removed during application.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION & FEATURES:

CANSHIELDTM SA300 is an self-adhered SBS-modified bitumen sheet membrane for use in approved multi-ply membrane waterproofing assemblies. Basic USES:

CANSHIELDTM SA300 can be applied to non-exposed course, underground and indoor engineering of various buildings, as well as waterproofing works such as open-excavation subways, tunnels, pools, and canals, especially for waterproofing works that open flames are not allowed.

APPLICATION:

Prior to installation, unroll CANSHIELDTM SA300 onto the deck and allow to relax. Place CANSHIELDTM SA300 in desired position and back roll the product. Apply approved adhesive or primer following manufacturer specifications. CANSHIELDTM SA300 is then placed into the

adhesive or primer and rolled with a weighted roller to ensure adhesion.

Limitation:

Do not apply to contaminated, wet, or damp surfaces.

Primer may be needed

STORAGE:

Store rolls in an upright position to prevent damage. Store in a clean, dry location and cover as necessary to protect from environmental damage such as extreme cold, heat or moisture.
