For the materials, we have many kinds of rubber to fit for each designed works as below:
1. Natural rubber (NR) is made of resin from eucalyptus tree without through any processes.
NR benefits: Friction resistance, impact resistance, good flexibility, heat resistance -20°C - more than 80°C
2. Synthetic rubber is a made by human. We may classify into 6 types:
2.1 Styrene-Butadiene Rubber (SBR)
SBR benefits: electical resistance, impact resistance, heat resistance -20°C - more than 80°C
2.2 Nitrile Rubber (NBR)
NBR benefits: Oil Resistance, chemical resistance, impact resistance, heat resistance -40°C - more than 120°C
2.3 Chloroprene/ Neoprene rubber (CR)
CR benefits: Fire Resistance, Atmosphere and Sunlight Resistance, oil resistance, heat resistance -40°C - more than 120°C
2.4 Ethylene-Propylene Diene Terpolymer (EPDM)
EPDM benefits: Ozone, Atmosphere and Sunlight Resistance, good to use in Heat and Cold Temp. , Insulation, Food grade of rubber, heat resistance -40°C - more than 140°C
2.5 Silicone Rubber
Silicone benefits: Ozone, Atmosphere and Sunlight Resistance, good for very high and cold Temp., Insulation, Bacteria and fungus resistance, Food Grade Rubber, heat resistance -50°C - more than 220°C
2.6 Viton rubber
Viton benefits: Most Resistance in Heat, Oil, Fire, Ozone and Sunlight, chemical,heat resistance -40°C - more than 300°C
