1. The Faber Flags Group:
Faber Flags Group started out as a sail making company in the Netherlands 75 years ago and has since developed into one of the major players in the international market of printed flags and banners. Three factors have contributed to this success:
- The vast experience acquired over those years in image processing and the use of the right fabric for the right application
- The fully customer-oriented approach
- The consistent effort to achieve the highest possible product quality at the right price
Faber Flags Group continues to improve and expand it's market position based on an on-going process of innovation but also by closely managing it's own production process. The Faber Group not only follows major trends in the market, but often acts as innovator, such as with the introduction of the Aventos flag system, or with the printed flag fabric that lights up in the dark – LightUp® Faber Flags Group offers a broad range of products that stretches from country flags, advertising flags in various sizes, as well as beach flags, umbrella's, fence wraps, displays, security gate covers to table flags. Compared to others our products are characterised by higher weather resistance and higher values of colorfastness, and can be washed in a regular washing machine. This results in Faber's flags and banners having the longest lifetime of all comparable products available in the market.
2. The Faber Flags Group in Thailand
In 2008 Faber Flags Group has set up a production company in Samut Prakarn – Thailand, to further diversify the production base and to better cover the growing market for quality printed products in Asia. Large size automated screen printing machines – the largest installed in SE Asia – and digital screen engraving (DLE) units were moved from Europe to the Thai plant to produce the high quality printed products as required by our most demanding customers. We are proud to say that the quality of the products produced in our Thai plant is the same as those produced in Europe. The company was granted BOI – Board of Investment – privilege with registration nr. 1538/ 2552 on July 23, 2009.
In 2010 Faber Flags Asia Co.,Ltd. was set up as the marketing and sales unit, with the purpose of introducing the high quality Faber Group products into the market in Thailand and the Australasian region.

4. Environmental Awareness
Faber Flags Thailand is committed to environmentally friendly printing. We constantly evaluate new printing technologies, new fabrics and new inks to make sure we can offer state of the art eco-friendly recyclable products to our customers. Our products typically last 3 to 6 times longer than the nylon flags most commonly seen in Thailand, thereby producing 3 to 6 times less waste in a fixed time period. Faber Flags Thailand is following the directives off the EU commission which recommend to replace flexible PVC (vinyl) used for banners with polyester, because PVC contains “phtalates”, a substance mentioned in the SVHC list of the REACH regulations. PVC contains approximately 56% chlorine, does not degrade and is very difficult to recycle. We offer our customers, who want to phase out PVC usage, advertising solutions based on polyester fabrics which can be 100% recycled into bottles, carpets, fabrics or construction materials.
Faber flags Thailand only uses water soluble dyes, free of heavy metals and solvents. Water usage is minimised by a high degree of recycling and waste water is treated before being discharged. Process steam and hot water are produced using LPG or natural gas, the cleanest of all fossil fuels.
Faber Flags Asia is not just offering a product. At Faber Flags Asia, we make efforts to offer advice, time, product and industry knowledge, delivering the most suitable environmentally friendly solutions to our customers.
